I am make aged 55.
I am currently unemployed. My teaching position was made redundant in 2018. I thus ceased work with the University of Tasmania on the 31st of July 2018.

I am enthusiastic and have an engaging teaching style. I like teaching and learning that gives the learner and teacher a real lived experience through examples in applied mathematics and economics. I am comfortable teaching Mathematical concepts to all age groups.

Availability: I am available anytime, and can start immediately.

I have a car and can drive within and outside Launceston.

Willing to travel: 50 miles

Experience: I have taught Mathematics, Quantitative Methods and Statistics at tertiary level.
I have taught at university of Tasmania for 10 years (2008-2018), Australian Maritime College (1988-2007), University of Swaziland (1990-1992), and University of Zimbabwe (1988-1990).

I hold a valid driver`s licence (HC).
I am senior first aid trained.

I will be reapplying for my Certificate for Working With Children.

I have teaching equipment for larger groups. The equipment includes a laptop, document camera and projector.

I have an extensive collection of books that include Australian primary and secondary Mathematics.
