Information about Sarah
I have taught English for most purposes, but especially for academic purposes in higher education (and IELTS) in a total of 9 countries, which includes Australia. I have also been to around 45 counties altogether many more than once. I have studied many languages myself, but am not fluent in any language other than English, so I have great empathy with the struggles involved with learning a language and endeavour to help make learning English not only effective, but also fun.
My qualifications include a Master degree in General and Applied Linguistics and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Linguistics from the Australian National University in Canberra; the internationally recognised, (Level 7 - (Masters UK Qualification Framework), the Trinity College Grad Dip in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages; and, a Grad Dip in Journalism and BA in Japanese and Communications from Murdoch University, Perth.
Availability: Having arrived back in Perth at the end of last year and enjoyed Christmas and New Year celebrations, my availability is still relatively flexible at the moment.

Experience: I have taught English at the level of higher education in Australia (UWA, Murdoch, Curtin and ECU Universities), USA (University of Wisconsin) Cyprus (Girne Anerican University), Oman (Sultan Qaboos University) and the UAE (Higher Collegeâs of Technology CERT).
