Mature educator who has worked in many educational fields, from Pre-school to post-school training of adults.
Much of the focus of my work has been students who were speakers of English as a second language. The focus of much of my more recent work has been with Australian Aboriginal students.
I am an older person who retired from my last job in education just under 2 years ago.
My work has covered all Primary curriculum and some Secondary studies - geography, economics and office. I am a qualified trainer of older students and adults. My focus with these trainees has been the development of skills for work and some work habits. practices.
My graduate qualifications - a Master in Education degree - included a research study. I examined the delivery of education to Australian Indigenous students and identified some elements of school programs and home life that conflicted with the desired outcomes.

Experience: I trained as a teacher for Primary grades. This was my work for 14 years.
I undertook further studies and worked in secondary programs for 14 years, 7 of these as Principal of a boarding school for Indigenous students.
Subsequent to this I worked as a private consultant with special interest in work with and for Indigenous school programs and adult training.
Thus my experience is essentially:
13 years in general Primary education
16 years in programs for Indigenous students
10 years as a senior adviser to Government and Catholic schools and staff
10years as a professional consultant with focus on work for and with Indigenous Australians
